Whare once long ago evil and teriny reigned, Then came a new king he was only 13 but he had wisdom, he gathered together twenty five men and knighted them, they all sore there alleigeance no matter what. So the new king and his knights rode forth aginst the evil that was plaging the land. They were victorious. The land was free but evil still srounded the kingdom, but the King decieded to rebuild what had been destoyed, and defend the kingdom aginst evil. So years past the King was now twenty and he was unhappy the people were complaning about the taxes and the need for a big army when the last fighting was ten years ago. He wondered what he could do to make his people happy. So the king asked his advisor what to do. The advisor a shewd man by the name of Gleg Botham advised the King to send out his Knights on differnt quests. secretly hopeing all would fail, for he disliked the knights becuse they did everything the king asked them to do, all because of a pleage. So the King gathered the knights together and sent them on there quests and told them to come back sucessfull. Only twenty came back alive. The king was saddend by the loss of the five men but thay had died with honor. The advisor meanwhile was angry, he hated the king and his knights even more. Then one day word came from the west in the kingdom of Bylas a evil wizard and his minnons where inslaveing the people of the land. So the king gathered his army and his knights and rode out aginst the wizard. The battle was terorable and bloody, after the dust had cleared and the scerming stoped, the battle was over, the wizard lay dead on his cobbled floor. The King stood over him and wiped blood off his head. He then ordered his men to return home and on the way tell the people of Bylas that they were free. On his way out of the room he saw a glowing book. He picked it up, the cover read HOW TO HAVE THE PERFECT KINGDOM. The King was intereged and put it under his belt at first the suviving kinghts asked him why he would take a book that had belonged to a evil wizard. The king told them to trust him and to drop the matter, so they did. They then left for thare home. A year past and the kingdom of BelDale is quiet, the people are gone from the streets, the castle looks deserted and the army is gone. Inside the castle no nosie is heard. the throne room is also silient. The Knights are still thare however, they stand at attention waiting for the king to return, thare are only ten knights alive they all are guant and skinny, they haven't eaten in a wile. Suddenly they is movement it's the King. He's coming into the room , He no longer resembles the honerable king that he was a year ago. He is fat, his hair is a mess and some of it is sticking out at odd places. Also his eyes have changed once they were shinning and difinent, but now they were cloody and muddled, and a grin was spead across hi face. He went and sat on the throne and looked at his kinght still standing were he had told them to. He laghed with mad glee and called for his advisor. The advisor came forward slowly for he was no longer a man he was a half man half someting, he was a failed exeriment of the king, but now he was a perfect subject for he did as he was told and did not complian. The advisor handed the King a large wooden bowl. The king looked at it and said "yes this will do, Knight Pylen come forward." Pylen looked up and went to the king, he was suffering badly like his compainions, He was one of the first knights, he was a known hero and well liked. So he stood before the King. The king looked up and said "bend over," Pylen did "unsteth your sword." Pylen did "point it at your neck" Pylen did. The King smiled and put the bowl under Pylen's Neck. "NOW THURST!" The king laghed with mad glee as Pylen"s life spayed into the wood bowl, his body feel to the floor. The king got up and left the room. The advisor looked down at the body and wayved a hand at the shadows whare two other things that used to ben human came forward together they draged th body away, they also were hungry. So as we look at the nine Knights still stand tall, still stand for a pleadge, As we leave we ask, who will save the herors?
