Rate This Contest Entry: Contest: June 30th, 2005 Author: Mary Abalu Noooo, I screamed after recieving my suspension and demotion letter from the principal. I did not know what to do. I immediately got down on my knees an started crying and pleading with her to forgive because I knew that once my father recieved the letter, my life will be turned upside down. She refused to even listen to my pleas. Right before my very eyes she sent her personal assistant to deliver the letter stating my suspension for sexual misconduct. She simply told me to get out of her office. I did not know what to do. I felt as if my whole world had been torn apart. I ran into Fadeke's office and cried out my heart to her. she tried to comfort me but my aching and bleeding heart refused to be comforted. My friends were also trying in vain to mcomfort me. Some of them were even crying along with me.My mother had always warned me not to venture into any relationship until I was out of high school. She will be highly disappointed when I break the news to her. My father gave me the beating of my life when he got back home. I had to be rushed to the hospital because I was bleeding profusely from a head ibnjury my father had inflicted on me. The doctor had to shave my head because he had to stitch the injury. The doctor told me that I will have a permanent scar on my head after the wound has been healed. My parents told me that I was not going to return back to C.T.c. They decided to send me to a sixth form school to write my o'level examinations. I was later told by my friends that Afolabi who happened to be my accomplice and ex-boyfriend did not recieve any beatings or any form of punishment from his parents. I have moved on with my life but the pain still lives within me. Whenever I misbehave my parents always use my mistake to insult me. If only I could turn back the hands of time, I will always listen to my mother whenever she gives me an advice and I will not allow myself to be mislead or fooled by the sweet words of any boy.
