Yeah that's me the human sacrafice for a ridiculos cause. Self satisfaction was my sole purpose for getting on this ride, instead I ended up regretting the moment I stepped in side the gate. Strange as it may seem I never liked the ferris wheel ride, but for some odd reason unbeknowning to me, I just had to get on. So I stepped inside the gate and paid the man with assurance. I sat down took and deep breath and fastened my seat. I was now prepared for the ride of my life. All at once the wheel began spinning upward and ever so high. I was more than thrilled with the ride, I was over joyed and head over hills. I began to wonder "what took me so long"? I was really glad I had gotten on. During the first few moments it seemed as though the sky was it deepest blue, while the sun blazed ever so bright. Oh, and the air was so soothing and comforting full of security like a blanket wrapped around you on a warm but chilly night. Yes, this was the ride, it was heavenly. I wanted to stay on this ride forever, right here, I never wanted to get off. Then suddenly the wheel began to move downward, and all of the beautiful scenes were no longer in full view. From where I was sitting the world and my surroundings had changed. The beauty of the ride had crept away and the harsh reality was quickly settling in. The fun part of the ride had disappeared. I was slightly thrown off balance when the ride shifted abruptly. Even though I was buckled in my seat tightly the ride became unsteady. The ride just didn't feel the same. I began to worry, when all sort of uncertainies and doubt began to form in my head. I said out loud "this ride isn't as safe as I thought it was. No one answered. Then my mind aske the question that I should have asked the man before getting on "Is this ride stable enough"? Boy, "I could have kicked me". I don't know I said to myself, I never thought to check for stability, I only checked the equipment and it was working. I didn't consider it not working. Then my mind clearly stated "suppose this ride is broke or should I say broken". Well, you can imagine by then my head was really spinning, I was even getting the ultimate "headache". All thoughts of betrayal, disturst and dishonesty covered most of the ride. I could not help but think the worst because by now my eyes were wide open. I wanted to get off this ride, but from the looks of things it was a little too late for that. My feet were nowhere near the ground. I gasped. I could hardly catch my breath, when I realized that I was too far up to come down and too afraid to jump, without causing me serious bodily harm. Maybe even something more fatal-death. No jumping was not an option. I had to keep cool even though I was furious. Now here I am sitting here buckled down in my seat and I"m too frighten to move. All of a sudden, the ride gave a big jerk followed by a loud clanking sound, similiar to metal rubbing metal. Yes, you guessed it! The ride stopped in mid-air on the flip of a dime. The ride just stops in the middle of nowhere with me on it. My mind intervened the most obivious thought that this ride may be over. My brain began turning like a ferris wheel and now I'm thinking "How long will it take me to get off.
