The darkness of night made it nearly impossible for her to see. As she neared the end of the alley a bright light came from behide her. She stopped running and slowly turned around. She could faintly see a figure clouded in black coming from the light. Her throat began to close up as the air became thick. She fell to the ground gasping for air. She looked up when she heard the figure speak. She could not understand what it said, it was whispering. She couldn't look anymore the light was too bright. She grabbed at her throat trying to get as much air as she could even though her throat would not allow her any. She began to cough. She looked up again, her eyes red from tears that had fallen from her eyes. She could see who it was now and it frightened her. It whispered again and this time Megan knew what it said. It called out to her. "Daughter". Megan woke screaming she could hear her screams echo through the empty house. She was dreaming of her mother again. More like having the 8th nightmare of her since she died of what the doctor said was a heart attack. Megan couldn't believe it. She knew there was nothing wrong with her mothers heart. She had died a week and a half ago. Her older sister Mandy left the night she died. Megan never heard from her. She prayed that she was okay. Megan through off the blankets that were covered in her own sweat. She got up off the bed and began to walk to her sisters room hoping to find a cigarette. She had started after her mothers death, her sister had started way before. Megan was only 18 and she knew it was not helping her with the pain of her mothers death. It was only making hers come closer. She had no clue how close she was to her death. She walked into her sisters room. She started looking in the dresser but she knew that the dresser would have been the first place their mother would look. She had to look harder. She went and turned on the light. She walked to the middle of the room right under the light. She looked up at first but, the light was too bright. She looked down at the floor, then back at the light. She could see a dark outline of someting sitting on glass that was under the balb. Megan quickly stood on the bed and reached and grabbed hold of the object. It was a bottle. Megan read the lable to the bootle. It looked like a medicine. The named made something in her mind connect. She remebered back in human anotomy class. It was a poision to stop the heart. Her eyes filled with tears as she found out the truth. Her sister Mandy had killed their mother and left. Megan heard the bedroom door shut. Her heart raced and her palms became sweaty as she clenced the bottle. She turned quickly and became full with fear as she saw her sister standing at the door. She had a evil smile and an ax hanging in her left hand. Megan went to scream but it was too late. The bright light came again and as her sister swung the ax at her it disppeared and was replaced with darkness.
