I wondered if it wasn't just this strange place or the strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. I turned around to see staggard prints trail into nothing. A chilling wave travels down my neck causing me to whip my head forward, only to see the same emptyness. "What time is it?". I don't know why I announced my question. I suppose I was only hoping for any reaction. Wishful thinking maybe. The Image of a beautiful sunset was still burnt into my eyes, my brain even. Once Again I thought of her and every kept word and unsaid notion I've had of her. Only to add a stupid line about her beauty surpassing the sunsets. Just then i felt my thoughts slipping. I knew what was coming. I turned around again to see the same memory. The chill hit my neck again. This time it didn't starttle me, but filled me with an overwelming sense of futility. That damn grin of his. Overwhelmingly confident and stern. Suddenly every muscle in my face fell. That horrible feeling was worsening. I dropped to my hands and knees. The Sun was blaring more than ever. "Why?", I tried to scream only to screech. I don't know why i felt the need to announce my question. wishful thinking maybe. I lay flat on the ground now. My body useless. My mind fixated on one solitary thought. It all had to end. The emotions continued to build on top of me until i felt i could not support any more. Finally I saw it. I saw the end. Every thought, feeling, sense, and emotion in and around me seised. I grew perfectly numb, pushed the ground away from me, and walk of into the darkness. Response follows words.
