Where does it come from? Is it bad? Is it good? How do you not have it? Why do some people get it? These are all some of the questions that people ask when the subject of boerdom comes up in a conversation. But my only question is why does it come up? I have looked it up on the internet and have found that the reasoning behind my question is simply because everyone suffers from it in one form or another. What would you say if little Sally Walker came up to you and said "I am bored!" This was asked to me by one of my close friends and it really made me think. I thought about an actual answer to his question when all of a sudden he blurts out "think about the rhyme that all the little girls used to sing while they were jumping rope" I gave a questioning look and then said ok and I began to sing "Little Sally Walker walking down the street she didn't know what to do so she stoped in front of me and said Hey Girl Do Your Thing Do Your Thing Now" in my head. This rhyme actually helped me in answering his question. On that same day I walked up to him and told him that I had my answer and that all I had to say was "do you thing girl, find that one thing that makes you happy and you love to do, then you won't be bored." Now the only question in my head is are you bored? Now the story begins. Jenni Taylor was slowly walking down the steet when all of a sudden Bobby Nite quickly came up to her and said "can I walk you home?" Jenni thought about it for a little while and said yes. They have lived next to each other since she could remember and she had a crush on him for about the same amount of time. Bobby was the popular jock and she was a tall gawky kind of girl. She thouht that they would never have a chance and that she would never get her dream to come true. So tonight she was honored not to mention giddy when he asked to walk her home. Bobby leaned in real close and whispered in her ear "will you go out with me?" She got the look of pure excitement on her face and hoped to God that he didn't see it. Without any moments of thinking she said "YES!" One Week Later. Jenni was waiting in her bedroom at 7:30 AM on Friday, April 8, 2005 waiting for Bobby to pick her up. Jenni was about to burst when the doorbell rang. She ran downstairs and answered the door. It was Bobby so she grabbed her bag and they left for school. Jenni wanted to talk to Bobby about her problem but he wouldn't stop talking about track and how fast he can run the two mile open. She knew that it was rude to interupt but she couldn't take it anymore. "Bobby, we need to talk," she said loud enough so he could hear. "Hold on just a minute babe, I am almost done," he said in a masculent voice. He said this all the time. "NO!I said that we need to talk so that means that we need to talk. I said it so I am inforcing it." she said in a I am boss kind of way. "ok, whats up?" he asked kind of scared. "It's Over." she said stearnly and quickly. "I just don't think that we are that compatable, and it's just not working. I am bored with you and I need to do my own thing." "ok" he replied. At that moment they both went their seperate ways and did what they wanted. Jenni wasn't bored anymore and Bobby had a new girlfriend within a couple of days. The moral of the story is that don't do anything that you don't want to do and even if you do want to do it then you can try it to see if you like it or not. Being bored isn't very fun and in this story Jenni found out that she was bored with "the man of her dreams" literally. Just do want to do and be happy with what you are doing.
